Mikel makes first appearance for Tianjin Teda

Super Eagles skipper Mikel Obi made his first appearance for Chinese Super League club Tianjin Teda in a friendly loss to Bundesliga side Borussia M’gladbach ll.
The former Chelsea star who joined the club on a £140-per-week deal was all smiles as the team posed for a photograph before kickoff.

The Chinese side held on 1-1 at half-time but eventually lost 2-1 to the Bundesliga outfit. 
The visitors had shot into the lead in the 10th minute before
Tianjin Teda hit an equalizer 14 minutes later.
The Bundesliga side were the better side in the second half and their pressure paid off as they grabbed the second goal in the 80th minute to seal the win. 
Surprisingly, the hosts had overwhelming possession of 70% as against 30% possession by the Bundesliga side.
