Manchester City vs Brighton: Team news, prediction & preview

Manchester City will entertain Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium, here are the facts you need to know before the clash between the Cityzens and the Seagulls.

TEAM NEWS:

MANCHESTER CITY:

Leroy Sane will not feature again this season after sustaining an anterior cruciate ligament during the pre-season and defender John Stones is still down with a thigh problem and he is a major doubt for the clash.

Benjamin Mendy is still nursing a knee injury and he is expected to stay back from this clash.

Gabriel Jesus missed the clash against Bournemouth with a hamstring problem and he could miss the clash against Brighton and Hove Albion.

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION:

The Brighton and Hove and Albion will miss the services of Jose Izquierdo, Yves Bissouma and Ezequiel Schelotto.

The  Seagulls wills also be without the suspend Florin Andone.

HEAD TO HEAD:

Pep Guardiola’s men have won all four meetings with Brighton since the Seagulls gain promotion to the English top-flight as well as the FA Cup semi-final.

The Premier League defending Champions has secured two wins and a draw in their last Premier League games and the Citizens have started the season in a great form and they will aim for a win when they clash against Bright and Hove Albion.

BRIGHTON AND HOVE ALBION:

The Seagulls only have one win in their last three Premier League games, the remaining two ended in a draw and a defeat. They have not really pick from where they left it last season.
