Blues manager Frank Lampard is in a deep mess as four Chelsea players suffered knocks during their international matches as the likes of Andreas Christensen, N'Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Reece James all picked up injuries while away with their countries.
This has posed a serious headache on Lampard ahead of the club's tight schedule of fixtures in the coming weeks.

Chelsea will face Newcastle on Saturday before playing four more games in the space of two weeks, the manager may be without Christensen against Newcastle after the defender limped off with a groin injury in Denmark win over Switzerland. The center-back has deputized Antonio Rudiger who is yet to return to full fitness.
Lampard will also miss the services of French midfielder Kante who sustained a hamstring injury while warming up for France and was unable to play against Iceland on Friday.
Former Real Madrid midfielder Kovacic was also withdrawn after the first half in Croatia 1-1 draw against Wales.
Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah were withdrawn from England Under-21 action last week with James sustaining an ankle injury.
