Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has given clue on his main target as he looks to solve the goal crisis that hit the Blues.

Lampard spoke about Paris Sait-Germain attacker Edison Cavani and it is likely the Uruguayan forward joins the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Lampard revealed his admiration for the Paris Saint-Germain striker. The Blues manager wants a striker after the defeat against Newcastle United and he keen on bringing in a center forward after previously ruling out any arrival this month.

"He's a great player.

"I played against him and I always loved his mentality and his attitude. His goal-scoring record speaks for itself.

"I'm not absolutely aware of what the situation is, so we'll see.

"He's an experienced player but so are many other players out there! We are young as a squad so the idea of bringing in experience is not something I'm looking away from. Sometimes the younger players need a bit of help."

Chelsea will go against Arsenal in their next league game at the Stamford Bridge.
