JUVE 1-2 AJAX: Ajax stun Juventus in Allianz

Ajax stunned Juventus 2-1 at Allianz Stadium in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, as the Dutch team qualified for the semifinals of the competition.

Ajax was forced into a change in the 6th minute as Nossair Mazraoui picked a knock and was unable to continue as Daley Sinkgraven.

juventus find it difficult to contain the fluidity of the Dutch team, it was Cristiano Ronaldo again who broke the deadlock in the 29th minute to put Juventus ahead from a fine pass Miralem Pjanic.

Ajax equalised after Juventus defence failed to keep an offside via Donny van de Beek in the 34th minute of the encounter. Emre Can broke into the box and went down after a rough tackle from an opposing player but the referee was not interested in the challenge.

Paulo Dybala was withdrawn for Moise Kean in the opening minute of the second half, as Juventus embark on the journey to score the second goal.

Ajax was on the verge of scoring the second goal but Juventus goalkeeper Szczesny denied the visitor the chance to went ahead.

Ajax made another effort in the 57th minute but it was blocked by Juventus defence. Max Allegri made another substitute as Joao Cancelo was thrown in for Mattia de Scliglio.

Juventus conceded the second goal in the 67th minute after Matthijs de Light nodded in Lasse Schone corner kick.

The game ended 2-1 in favour of Ajax.
