Fifth Super Eagles player Oghenekaro Etebo has withdrawn from Brazil international friendly in Singapore on Sunday afternoon.

The 23-year-old Stoke City midfielder was not part of the 19 players that landed in the Asian nations on Thursday but was expected to link up with the squad, however, it has now been confirmed that he will miss the encounter as he was unable to get a visa.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr now has 21 players at his disposal ahead of the game at the Singapore National Stadium but Etebo is the latest Nigeria stars to miss the high profile international friendly against the five-time world champions after Ola Aina, Kenneth Omeruo, Samuel Kalu and long term absentee Ahmed Musa all of whom have also been ruled out due to injury.

Solomon-Otabor, Peter Olayinka are coming into the Nigeria senior camp for the first time but Tyronne Ebuehi and Ramon Azeez also make a return to the national set-up, while Abdullahi Shehu, Chidozie Awaziem and Wilfred Ndidi are back after missing the 2-2 draw with Ukraine in Dnipro last month.
