French Cup: Osimhen reacts after helping Lille reach last 4

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reacted after helping Lille to reach the semi-final of Coupe de la Ligue follwing a 2-0 victory over Amiens at Stade Pierre Mauroy on Wednesday night.

Luiz Araujo opened the scoring 50th minutes earlier after South African star Bongani Zungu was given his marching orders as early as the first half after receiving two yellow cards in the 21st and 38th minutes.

Osimhen then doubled Lille lead as he opened his goal account for 2020 with a 58th-minute strike after receiving the ball from Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target Boubakary Soumare to ensure the home side move into semi-finals.

The 21-year-old Nigeria international has taking his goals tally to 14 in 25 appearances across all competitions for the Great Danes since his arrival in July to his social media to pleased with the passage to last four of the competition.

Osimhen will be aiming to continue his fine goalscoring run when Lille take on Dijon at Stade Gaston Gérard in their next Ligue 1 game on Sunday.
