Chelsea is set to up their bid for Lyon attacker Moussa Dembele after their initial bid of £34 million was rejected by the Ligue 1 outfit.
According to the report in The Sun says Chelsea is prepared to offer Olivier Giroud as part of the deal in a bid reduced the price tag placed on the attacker.
Lyon directors are not prepared to let go of their attacker and the club went on to released a statement insisting that they will not sanction a move for the forward.

However, Chelsea is not ready to give up on the possibility of signing the attacker and the club directors are set to include World Cup winner Giroud plus cash to convince Lyon to sell Dembele.
The offer is reported to be worth £6 million more in cash, with the added bonus of Olivier Giroud. The former Arsenal forward wants a deal sealed in this month in a bid not to loose his place in the France squad for the European Tournament in the summer.
