CHE 2-2 ARS: Blues fail to capitalise on Luiz's red card

Chelsea was unable to take advantage of 10-man Arsenal despite a huge advantage of David Luis dismissal in the 26th minute of the clash, the game ended 2-2 draw, with Jorginho and Cesar Azpilicueta finding the back of the net for Chelsea and Gabriel Martinelli and Hector Bellerin doing the same for the visitors.

A poor back pass from Shkodran Mustafi to Bernd Leno was intercepted by Tammy Abraham and Luis came to the rescue but in the end, committed a foul that deserved a red card and was rightly sent off.

Chelsea was award a penalty from the reckless tackle and Jorginho made no mistake from the spot in the 28th minute.

Arsenal came back with a swift counter-attack that was nicely executed by Martinelli after a great N’Golo Kante slip halfway the field, Martinelli cool put the ball past Keep Arrizabalaga.

Chelsea was back on the lead again after Azpilicueta scored in the 84th minute to give a sigh of relief but Arsenal fought back after Bellerin cut in to put the ball past Kepa with three minutes left in the normal regulation time.

The game ended 2-2.

Chelsea will play Hull City on Saturday in the FA Cup at the KCOM stadium 4th round while Arsenal will take a trip to Bournemouth to play at the Dean Court on  Monday.
