Champions League semi-final draw: All the details you need

The UEFA Champions League quarter-final round curtain was drawn on Wednesday with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich seeing off competitions from Juventus and Sevilla respectively to join Liverpool and the competition's giant killers AS Roma in the mix for the semi-final draw on Friday.

Liverpool who will discover their Champions League semi-final opponents on Friday completed the job against their Premier League rivals Manchester City with a 2-1 win in the second leg of their quarter-final at Etihad Stadium to qualify with a 5-1 aggregate victory on Tuesday.

Joining the Merseysiders in the next round on Tuesday were AS Roma, who also sealed progression on Tuesday night by eliminating Barcelona on away goals after a 3-0 victory at Stadio Olimpico to overturn a 4-1 first leg deficit.

The remaining two semi-finalists were confirmed on Wednesday evening, with Real Madrid holding losing a 3-0 advantage over Juventus before being saved by a late Cristiano Ronaldo penalty and Bayern Munich holding on to their 2-1 first leg victory Sevilla to pick a semis ticket despite a 0-0 draw at home.

The last-four draw will take place at UEFA headquarters in Switzerland at on Friday. The semi-final first legs are set to be held on Tuesday, April 24/Wednesday April 25 with the return matches on Tuesday, May 1/Wednesday May 2.
