Bayern boss Kovac reacts to the 0-0 draw against Liverpool

Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac has reacted the 0-0 draw at the Anfield against Liverpool in the first leg of the round of 16 in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

Kovac was pleased with the performance of his team after the German Champions held the Reds from getting a goal on their home turf. Jurgen Klopp's men have not lost in 20 European matches dating back to October 2014.

"I can't remember that many clubs that have not lost and not conceded at Anfield," he said.

"Liverpool, they are a sensationally-good team. We didn't score, but we didn't let one in.

"We're at home now and home games are an advantage.

"That's a great performance. We've got the quality and we've shown that over recent years but we haven't achieved anything and I'm the last person to start celebrating.

Bayern Munich will host Liverpool at the Allianz Arena on the 13th of March.
