Barca ready to battle Arsenal & Man Utd for transfer target

Barcelona ready to battle Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe in the summer as the forward set to announce his future club next week, according to Diario Sport.

The 23-year-old Ivory Coast international has been in scintillating form for the Ligue 1 outfit this term, netting 20 goals and contributing 12 assists, having also found the back of the net 14 times last season.

Pepe told Canal Football Club last month. "My representatives take care of my future, I am focused on Lille for the rest of the season.

Lille sporting director Luis Campos said in February: "If a really good proposal comes in for Pepe, we have to sell him.”

Barcelona who crowns La Liga Champions again after a 1-0 win over Levante on Saturday at Nou Camp will rival Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Tottenham, Wolves, Paris St Germain, Inter Milan and Chelsea (who are currently appealing a FIFA-imposed transfer ban) are also in the frame for the player.
