AGAIN! Mourinho, Conte fight over transfer target

Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte are set to go face to face again in the current transfer window as Manchester United and Chelsea prepare separate bids for Roma’s £40m midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

The Portuguese had already beaten the Blues boss go the signing of Romelu Lukaku this summer with the Italian favourite to land another target Tiemoue Bakayoko from AS Monaco.

According to the DailyMail, both managers’ admire 29-year-old Nainggolan and with AS Roma open to selling the powerful midfielder – Mourinho and Conte see it as a great opportunity to add a quality player to their ranks for squad depth.  

Tottenham Hotspur have told Mourinho that his other target Eric Dier is not for sell while his rocking relationship with Conte may see the Nemanja Matic bid fail while Conte looks set to land Bakayoko but he will not be fit until September so Nainggolan present both coaches a good option.

Interestingly, Inter Milan are also want Nainggolan but Roma are not willing to sell to a rival and will prefer to ship the player abroad.

Manchester United have monitored Nainggolan for the last six months while Chelsea failed to sign him last summer but remain interested.

The transfer window will close on August 31 and the drama between Mourinho and Conte is set to continue into the new season.
