Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori will complete his loan switch to Serie A leaders AC on Saturday, according to reports.
The 23-year-old who snubbed Nigeria for England was confirmed by Rossoneri’s sporting director Paolo Maldini that the club are closing in on a deal for the player, and the agreement includes an option to buy for £25m.
AC Milan are currently facing a defensive crisis with Alessio Romagnoli suspended while Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia are in the treatment room so the club are keen on signing Tomori before they Atalanta side in Saturday.
Sky Italia claim that the Chelsea academy graduate could fly to Italy on Friday for his medical and join the Milan side who currently sit three points clear at the top of the Serie A rankings.
Tomori made just four appearances for Chelsea and all were in the EFL Cup.
