Nigeria Super Eagles will open refurbished Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City with the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Squirrels of Benin Republic on November 11, according to Completesports.com.

There are also suggestions the Keshi Stadium could undergo rehabilitation ahead of the FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup which Nigeria is bidding to host with Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium are amongst six stadia Nigeria Football Federation is proposing as venues for the championship.
