Chelsea seal a place in the knockout stage of the Champions League following a 2-1 victory over Rennes at the Roazhon Park on Tuesday.

Callum Hudson-Odoi scored for the visitors in the first half and a goal from Sehrou Guirassy in the 85th minute looked like Chelsea was heading for a draw but a dramatic stoppage-time goal from Olivier Giroud sealed the three points for the Blues, Hakim Ziyech set up Werner, whose shot was saved by Gomis, only for substitute Giroud to head in the rebound.

Chelsea top Group E with 10 points after four games and on level terms with Sevilla but ahead on goal-difference, after the Spanish side also claimed a late 2-1 victory in Russia against Krasnodar to seal their passage into the knockout stages.
