Real Madrid attacker Eden Hazard has reacted to his injury woes after the 2-2 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Belgian attacker was a late substitute in the clash against the German team, Hazard suffered an ankle injury in November last year and he has struggled to play at his best for Real Madrid in the last few months.
Hazard experienced a relapse in the ankle injury and a more recent muscle injury has meant that Hazard was not able to debut in the 2020-2021 season until 8 games into the new season.
According to the report in El Mundo Deportivo, Eden Hazard spoke with the head of Real Madrid’s medical department, Niko Mihic. Eden’s words were believed to be very positive regarding both his ankle and quadricep: “Doctor, everything is okay. My ankle and quadricep did not hurt at all”.
Hazard’s words bring relieve to the Real Madrid team who is struggling to win games, especially in the Champions League.
Hazard is expected to play against Huesca on Saturday in the La Liga and if things go as planned he would feature against Inter Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
