After missing the midweek trip to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Manchester United new signing Edinson Cavani is set to make his Old Trafford debut against Chelsea on Saturday.
The Uruguayan joined the Red Devils in a free transfer on transfer deadline day and has impressed with his desire to get match-fit for the tie against the Blues.
“He might be ready for the squad as well for this weekend,”” Ole explains in an interview with the club’s official website. “He’s been training hard and been training well. I think he’ll be available for the weekend.”
However, Jesse Lingard and Eric Bailly are unavailable due to injury while France international Anthony Martial is suspended for domestic matches, after his red card against Tottenham.

“We’re still hoping Mason and Harry can be available in the squad. Of course, we have a training session today [Friday], so they’re going to have to go through that. Eric won’t be available. Jesse won’t be available so we’ll manage without them for a few weeks I think,” Solskjaer stated.
