Hailed for his speedy recovery after three days lay off, Super Eagles midfield enforcer, Oghenekaro Etebo has told Galatasaray fans to expect an improved performance from him when the Red and Yellow takes on Alanyaspor in their next game in the Turkish Super Lig.
The former Getafe loanee was injured in Gala’s 1-0 loss to Kasimpasa and missed Nigeria’s two International friendly against Algeria and Tunisia. But it was no small achievement that Etebo managed to stage an early comeback four days later.
Etebo told Fanatik how rejuvenated he is at the moment and hopes to propel Galatasaray to a massive win over Alanyaspor on Monday.
“You will watch a different Etebo with much-improved performance,” he told Fanatik on Friday.
The Super Eagles midfielder spent the second half of last season at Getafe moved to Turkey on a season-long loan deal from Stoke City in September.
He is expected to lead the Gala attack on Monday after coach Fatih Terim expressed confidence in the player’s ability to return Gala to winning ways after the last fixtures’ setback.
