Erling Braut Haaland heap praises on Martin Odegaard in the 4-0 win over Norway in the Uefa Nations League on Sunday evening.
The Borussia Dortmund attacker scored a hat trick with two of the assists provided by the Real Madrid star and Haaland believes that the pair can take Norway to a new height.
Haaland claimed the match ball after hitting the hat-trick against the Romanians and he told TV2: ‘I just have to pay tribute to him a little. Finally, he came to his senses and played the ball to me.
‘Yes, I can simply split it (the hat-trick) in two (and share with Odegaard). It’s nice to play with Odegaard. It will only get better in the years to come. We are still young.’
The Borussia Dortmund ace got his first goal in the 13th minute, 64th minute for the second goal and he completed his hat trick in the 74th minute as he walked away with the match ball.
With the 4-0 win over Romania, the Nations League result on Sunday sees Norway join Austria at the top of Nations League Group B1, with their rivals winning 1-0 away at Northern Ireland on the same evening as Haaland’s heroics.
