With the departure of Gareth Bale looking increasing likely at the Santiago Bernabeu, two Real Madrid players are vying for the iconic number 11 shirt.
Bale has donned the squad number since his arrival in 2013 season, Vinicius Junior and Marco Asensio are battling to get their hands on the potential vacant squad number.
Asensio admires the No.10 shirt which is currently worn by Luka Modric and he even accompanied his name on social media with the number.
The Belaric born star is considering wearing the iconic No.11 shirt ut he hasn’t made any firm decisions and won’t comment while Bale is still a Real Madrid player.
Vinicius is also in line to pick up the number having worn it at Flamengo. But at Real Madrid, he’s had to wear No.28 and No.25.
The other numbers available for grab include James Rodriguez’s old No.16 shirt and Brahim Diaz’s No.21 or Asensio number 20, should Spanish attacker picks up Bale’s number for the next season.
