According to reports, Belgium international Eden Hazard has been ruled out of Real Madrid’s opening game in La Liga this weekend through injury.
Hazard is seriously working in the gym to recover his physical condition and come back from an ankle injury but will miss the trip to Real Sociedad this weekend.
According to Cadena Cope, Hazard is “under scrutiny” at the Bernabeu as he has failed to shine since he joined from Chelsea last summer. He missed large portions of last season through injury and faces a frustrating start to the 2020/2021 season.

He suffered a fracture to his right distal fibula during the 1-0 La Liga loss at Levante in February – just a week after he returned from a similar three-month layoff but his decision to join up with the national team means he has lost 10 days of pre-season training with Real Madrid and that has put in under scrutiny.
Hazard scored just one goal across 22 appearances in his debut season for Real Madrid, although the Los Blancos won the title for the first time in three years.
