Former NPFL midfielder Afeez Aremu is happy after making his debut in St. Pauli 1-0 victor over Sonderjyske.
The 20-year-old Nigerian star scored five goals and one assist in 63 appearances for IK Start before joining Bundesliga two last month until June 2023.
Aremu started the game and was instrumental as Tashchy scored the only goal in the friendly match encounter.

He was replaced in the 69th minute by Rodrigo Salazar after he gave a good account of himself.
However, ex-Akwa United player was excited after the match and posted on his social media handle.

Aremu is expected to be in action for St Pauli when take on SV Elversbergn in the first round of the DFB-Pokal on Sunday.
