Things are not looking pretty good for Super Eagles and Rangers’ duo of Leon Balogun and Joe Aribo ahead of this weekend Premier League clash with Hamilton Academicals.
Both players were ruled out of Rangers’ last two games against Livingston and St Johnstone due to knocks and injury but both players’ chances of making the starting line-up against Hamilton still hang in the balance.
Filip Helander has done so well in Balogun’s absence and he is poised for another start with the Nigerian most likely to come in as substitute if cleared by team doctors to play.
Manager Steven Gerrard has been able to dig deep and come up with an attacking alternative in Aribo’s absence. His 4-2-2-2 tactical decision to play two wingers alongside two strikers require one midfielder to cover up for Aribo’s absence.
Gerrard’s men will be aiming to maintain their unbeaten run in the league as they face Hamilton this weekend with the odds in Rangers’ favour.
Sports mole reported that Gerard will brief the press on Friday on his team readiness and state of Balogun and Aribo’s injury.
