Super Eagles and Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, and his teammates will on Monday undergo swab and Serological, Tuttomecartosports can report.
Napoli has stepped up its pre-season program but Tuttomecartosports revealed that the squad will be subjected to swab and Serological tests as part of health precaution against Covid-19.
Swabs are used to collect samples from the mucus membranes in the nose and throat where the virus may be growing or have been coughed up from the lungs. A swab is taken from the player’s nose or throat then sent to a lab for testing.
The regroup will also afford manager Genaro Gattuso the opportunity to begin work with Victor Osimhen, the most expensive player in the history of the club.
Osimhen joined Napoli in a reported £74m deal that would make him the most expensive African footballer in history.
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Serie A sides after his impressive season in France with Lille.
