RB Leipzig scored a late goal to advance to the semifinals of the Champions League with a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid on Thursday evening.

Dani Olmo scored with five minutes into the second half for RB Leipzig from a beautiful cross that was directed into the box.

Atletico Madrid stepped up their game after they conceded the goal with manager Diego Simeone introducing Joao Felix in the game with Hector Hererra substituted.

oao Felix was brought down in the box with 20 minutes to and the Portuguese made no mistake from the spot after the referee award a penalty for the Spanish team.

RB Leipzig got the winning goal in the 87th minute via Tyler Adams as the German team advanced to the semifinals of the Champions League.
