Arsenal has learnt the price of their main summer target Danilo Pereira from FC Porto, according to report.
The Gunners have reportedly been told that they would have to cough out a sum of £36 million to sign the midfielder.
Pereira has issued a come and get me plea to Arsenal this week by admitting that he is a big fan of Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
Manchester United was previously linked with a move for the Porto captain, Pereira has two years left on his contract with the Primera Liga side.
There had been talks that the 28-year-old has a release clause in the region of £54m, but Portuguese outlet Jornal de Noticias suggests that he is available for nearly £20m less.
Arteta is believed to be seeking a holding midfielder in the mould of Pereira to either replace or provide competition for Matteo Guendozi, Lucas Torreira and Granit Xhaka.
Arsenal is also linked with Atletico Madrid Thomas Partey, RB Leipzig Dayot Upamecano and Real Madrid Luka Jovic.
