Arsenal could involve in a swap deal that would see them sign Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho and Matteo Guendouzi in the opposite direction.
The report in the Dailymail claims that Arsenal is interested in the deal that would see the controversial midfielder leave the Emirate Stadium this summer.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has questioned Guendozi’s character and he has not impressed with his performance of late despite having a promising start to life at Arsenal under Unai Emery last season.
Guendozi is not short of offers as top clubs including La Liga Champions RealnMadrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan are all keen on signing the midfielder.
However, the Daily Mail suggest that FC Barcelona could agree to a player swap with Arsenal that would see the Brazilian midfielder head to The Emirates.
The former Lorient midfielder has not played since his spat with Brighton striker Neal Maupay which has prompt the Spanish manager to drop the midfielder on several occasion.
Coutinho won the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich but the Bavarian directors have expressed their opinion of not exercising their first option on the former Liverpool star at the end of the campaign and he is due to make a return to Barcelona after the Champions League.
