Villarreal is prepared to announce former Arsenal manager Unai Emery as their next manager for the next season, according to report in Spanish publication Marca.
Villarreal is set to let go of Javi Calleja who guided the Yellow submarine to Europa League but he is set to be replaced by Emery.
Villarreal reached an agreement with the former Sevilla boss some time ago and his arrival will be confirmed once the season is over.
Emery has been out of a job since being sacked by Arsenal earlier this campaign.
Emery has managed clubs in Spain, France, Russia and in England, notably, he has been in charge of three La Liga clubs Almeria, Valencia and Sevilla.
Emery will be in charge of the Yellow Submarine for the next season football campaign.
