Real Madrid directors are confident of Kylian Mbappe’s deal for the coming summer.
It is widely believed at the Santiago Bernabeu that the Paris Saint-Germain winger will push for a move to the Spanish capital next season.
Real Madrid has been targeting the French attacker when he was in Monaco before he secured a move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 on a loan deal and eventually signed a permanent deal with the Ligue 1 winners.
However, Mbappe’s current contract at the Parc des Princes expires in 2022, and Marca reports that they would have to sell him next summer if they cannot agree on an extension.
Paris Saint-Germain is keen on holding on to Mbappe and they are prepared to offer him an improved deal in a bid to extend his stay at the Parc des Princes Stadium but Real Madrid is of the view that Mbappe will reject such offers and force a move away from the French capital to join Real Madrid which he claimed to be his dream club.
Real Madrid will spend less in signing him if he refused to sign an extension this summer, but he is not expected to come cheap despite that.
The World Cup winner scored 30 goals and set up 17 more in just 33 appearances for PSG in 2019-20 before the domestic season was curtailed.
