Manchester United suffered a huge blow in the 2-2 draw against Southampton in their Premier League clash on Monday evening.

Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams couldn’t finish the game and they were forced off at Old Trafford, The Red Devil was on the verge of winning the game before they conceded a late equalizer which leaves them fifth in the table.

Shaw played for 75th minute before sustained an injury to his right knee while Williams was involved in a head clash with Kyle Walker-Peters which left blood pouring from his head.

The injury means that Manchester United will be without an ideal left-back for the match against Crystal Palace on Thursday or the FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea on Sunday.

Manchester United missed the opportunity to go to the third place on the Premier League table after Chelsea and Leicester City suffered defeat in their weekend clash against Sheffield United and Bournemouth respectively in their last game.

The draw against Southampton saw Manchester United close the gap on the top four with just three games to go in the Premier League.
