Chelsea is prepared to offer Kepa Arrizabalaga plus cash for La Liga best goalkeeper, Jan Oblak, as manager Frank Lampard is keen on replacing the Spanish international at the Stamford Bridge.
Kepa joined Chelsea in a world-record deal for goalkeeper costing £71m two seasons ago when he joined from Athletic Bilbao.
Kepa,25, has not been convincing under Lampard and the Blues manager has dropped the goalkeeper on several occasions this season.
Chelsea has been linked with a string of top-class goalkeepers, with the most blockbuster of moves available to them being Oblak.
Oblak is considered as the best goalkeeper in the world and the Blues are looking to tempt him to west London by offering Atletico Madrid Kepa plus a transfer fee on top, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Slovenian shot-stopper release clause at Atletico is an enormous £120m, but Chelsea is willing to three Kepa into the deal to reduce the cost, Oblak’s contract with the Madrid based club runs till 2023 and Atletico Madrid has no desire to let him go.
Chelsea is also linked with Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana and Manchester United on loan keeper at Sheffield United Dean Henderson, he has impressed at Bramall Lane.
Manchester United is not willing to sell as they see him as a perfect replacement for David De Gea.
