Manchester United has identified Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele as an alternative to the signing of Borussia Dortmund Jadon Sancho, according to report.
Manchester United is already considering an alternative to the deal and the Red Devils board believe that the Barcelona star would be a cheaper option to the English attacker whines valued €120m, a figure that United cannot meet under the current circumstances.
The Old Trafford giants are not willing to go beyond €50m valuation for the attacker.
With Manchester United’s offer below Dortmund’s expectations, eyes could be turned on Ousmane Dembélé.
Manchester United has been interested in the services of the Dortmund youngster having monitored the situation since the summer of 2017.
Dembele recent injury history has also deterred Manchester United from also taking a major step in signing the forward.
Barcelona is opened to the deal and hopes to raise at least €80m from the sale of Dembélé, a valuation Manchester United is not willing to meet.
Manchester United is also keen on signing Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish this summer.
