Kaduna-born midfielder Ifeanyi Mathew has extended with Norwegian second division this season Lillestrom for a year as a free agent.
The 23-year-old star was linked with a move to Danish club Aalborg after he rejected a move to Norway’s most successful club Rosenborg twice.
Mathew’s initial contract was to have ended July 31 and that will make him a free agent before he penned a new one year deal after Lillestrom announced the contract extension via their Twitter handle.
