Super Falcons striker Desire Oparanozie has sent a message after joining the new French Division 1 Féminine side Dijon FCO on a two-year deal.

The 26-year-old Nigeria end her six years spell with another French club Guingamp in the summer after she scored where she scored 45 goals in 106 league matches.

Oparanozie is joining Dijon FCO as a free agent told the club official website she said: “I am happy to start a new adventure after six years in Guingamp. I am delighted to be able to discover something else.

“I really like this club and the coach’s speech, which has followed me for a long time, convinced me. I am very honored to sign at DFCO. “
Oparanozie won two African championships (2010 and 2014), as well as two African Nations Cups (2016 and 2018) has played for Lüleburgaz 39 Spor (Turkey), WFC Rossiyanka (Russia), VfL Wolfsburg (Germany) and Atasehir Belediyespor (Turkey) before her move to France in 2014.
