Super Eagles right-back Shehu Abdullahi sent a message after helped promotion hopefuls Bursaspor beat Adanaspor 1-0 in the Turkish Super Lig (second division) encounter at Timsah Arena on Friday night.
The 27-year-old Nigeria international made his 28th league outing this season against Adanaspor and has scored four goals so far.
Abdullahi was replaced with seven minutes remaining in the game by Cuneyt Koz in
which was Bursaspor’s 30th of the campaign with four games left to play.
Tayfur Bingol’s eight-minute strike was enough to secure the win for Bursaspor who took part in their second game since football resumed in Turkey.
Abdullahi took his social media handle to celebrate three-point for and sent a message to Bursaspor supporters to remain optimistic ahead of four games left to play for a spot in the Turkish Super Lig next season.
Bursaspor are third ( promotion play-off spot) on 49 points in the 18-team league table but visit Merkez Stadium to face eight places Giresunspor on Tuesday night.
