Chelsea has reignited their interest in the signing of Premier League proven defender Nathan Ake as the Blues hierarchy weighs options to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.
The report in the Guardian says Chelsea is thinking of a move of bringing back the Dutch international to Stamford Bridge.
Ake came through the ranks at Chelsea academy before joining Bournemouth in 2017 and it is widely claimed that Chelsea could bring back the 25-year-old centre defender to the Stamford Bridge on the cheap if Bournemouth is relegated from the Premier League.
Chelsea has a buy-back option around £40m in Ake’s deal.
Chelsea is also keen on signing Timo Werner after they jump the queue to be ahead of Liverpool and Manchester United in the race to sign the German international.
