Bayern Munich secured a 2-0 win over Union Berlin with goals from Robert Lewandowski and Benjamin Pavard in either half.

Union Berlin defence proved to be difficult for Bayern Munich to crack but the breakthrough came in the 40th minute.

Bayern Munich scored the first goal in the 40th minute against Union Berlin via Robert Lewandowski’s penalty after Neven Subotic tripped down a Bayern Munich player.

The first half ended in favour of the Bundesliga Champions with a 1-0 lead over the home team in front of an empty stadium.

Bayern Munich missed the opportunity to give Bayern the second goal but his effort went wide off the post but Bayern Munich is still showing much and in the 81st minute Benjamin Pavard out jumped Union Berlin defender in the six-yard box to convert the second goal as the goalkeeper remained helpless in the goal post.
