Former Barcelona president Joan Laporta has revealed his dream manager for Barcelona in the next season if he is elected as the president of the club.
Laporta is making plans to return as the president of the club in the next year elections and he hopes to make some changes to the team and also brings in a new structure and reforms that would affect both players and management staff.
Laporta was at the helm of affairs from 2003 to 2010, an era in Barcelona history that the Blaugrana experience massive success on and off the pitch.
The former president of the club is keen on bringing Guardiola to the Camp Nou on his return to Barcelona as president and he has revealed the reason why he felt the Manchester City manager is better suited at Barcelona than the Al-Saad coach.
Laporta is of the opinion that Xavi still has some of his teammates in the Barcelona team and leading them would not be as easy for him as a young manager.
Laporta never downplayed the professionalism of the former Barcelona captain but at the moment he rates Guardiola over any candidate to handle the Camp dugout.
