Premier League strugglers Watford have announced the signing of Arsenal, Sevilla & AC Milan transfer target Pape Gueye on a five-year deal from French Ligue 2 side Le Havre.
The 21-year-old midfielder made 25 appearances and recorded two assists as he contract set to run out in the summer.
Gueye has been linked with a move to Emirate Stadium with Spanish sides of Sevilla, Valencia and Serie A trio Udinese, Fiorentina and AC Milan plus Ligue 1 outfit Marseille all showing strong interest in former France U19 international.
Watford currently sits 17th in the Premier League, outside the relegation zone only on goal difference ahead of Bournemouth as they are also two points clear of 19th-placed Aston Villa, but Dean Smith’s side have a game in hand took to their official Twitter handle to confirm the signing of Gueye.

Gueye has been compared to N’Golo Kante and Paul Pogba is eligible to play for Senegal or France at international level is expected to join the Hornets on July 1 with his current contract at the French outfit expiring in the summer.
