Chelsea have reportedly set to battle Atletico Madrid for the signature of Netherlands sensation Mohamed Sankoh from Stoke City.
The 16-year-old Dutch star has contributed nine goals and nine assists throughout the campaign for the English Championship side, inevitably leading to an interest in his signature.
According to Goal.com claim that the Premier League giants Chelsea are taking a look at Sankoh, who has impressed at Under-18 level this season.
However, Frank Lampard is known to be keen on first-team additions during the next transfer window, the Blues have been pro-active in their search for players who could join their academy setup.
The report claims that Atletico Madrid are also keen on Sankoh as they, too, look for options for the future.
Chelsea are currently sitting in the fourth position three-point ahead of Manchester United with nine matches remaining before the Premier League can be concluded if football return after coronavirus outbreak is over.
