Ajax attacker Hakim Ziyech is cleared to join Chelsea for the next season campaign and he is expected to resume training with the Blues when the team resumes training from July 1.
Chelsea completed the deal to the signing of the Morocco international before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and it is expected that the attacker would remain at with Ajax till the end of the season.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Ziyech could find himself being able to link up with the Blues significantly earlier than expected.
The report says that the likely end to the Eredivisie campaign will mean that any planned transfers can be processed as planned.
Though the attacker would not be eligible to play for Chelsea in any competitive games for the west Londoners until after the current season, no decision has been made regarding the start and the end dates of the transfer window.
Chelsea would add the forward to their team for the next season campaign, though the Blues will witness a mass exodus of players with the likes of Pedro Rodriguez, Willian, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi are expected to leave and free up space for new signings.
Manager Frank Lampard is also keen on moving Kepa Arrizabalaga on with the boss expected new recruitment in that department.
