Red Devils supporters reacted as Manchester United 2020-21 home jersey leaked online

Red Devils’ 2019-20 home shirt by Adidas is currently somewhat plain and simple, paying tribute to the club’s iconic treble winning season with a nod to the 1999 Champions League final. But the German sports giant could go more ‘out there’ in the plans for next season.

There is no confirmed leak of a prototype home shirt itself, but Footy Headlines have created a concept illustrative image of the possible design – based on a leaked image of a red Manchester United branded ball that Adidas have produced as part of the wider collection.

The new kit features black and yellow flashes smattered over the red backdrop of the kit, evoking the traditional colour scheme which appears to pay tribute to the 20th anniversary of Adidas’ United home kit from 1990-1992.

The jersey is expected to be officially launched in July 2020, though that date might be put back if the season rumbles on into the summer due to the ongoing coronavirus uncertainty.

Take a look at the kit and some fans’ reaction to it.
