Chelsea star Olivier Giroud has agreed on terms with Serie A outfit Inter Milan as a move is on the card ahead of the next season.
The reports in Italian media Tuttosport claims that Giroud and Inter Milan are ready to finalise a deal that will see the French striker lace his boot for the Nerazzuri next season.
The World Cup winner wants to retain his place in the France national team as he aims to get more playing time to justify a place in Didier Deschamps squad ahead of the Euro 2021, which will take place next summer.
Giroud will be out of contract with the Blues this summer and his former boss Antonio Conte is willing to sign the former Arsenal star on a free transfer.
Giroud was linked with a move to Inter Milan in January but the deal failed to materialise.
Chelsea is also on the lookout for Giroud’s replacement with Lyon attacker Moussa Dembele on the list of attacker lined up to replace the World Cup winner at the Stamford Bridge.
