Super Eagles 2018 FIFA World Cup home jersey lose to Brazil after voted fifth all-time in 20th best Iconic Football shirt in history.
This was made known after the final result of fans votes published on BBC sports website on Thursday.
The Super Eagles took the world by storm with the release of the new shirt prior to the 2018 World Cup.
Fans queued for hours outside Nike’s flagship store in London to get their hands on one, and with three million pre-orders of the replica shirts, they sold almost immediately after they were released.
The Super Eagles only wore the kit once in Russia which was in their second group game against Iceland which they won 2-0 courtesy of Ahmed Musa brace.
Gernot Rohr men also wore it at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where they finished third for the eight-time in the history of the tournament thanks to Odion Ighalo’s third-minute strike against Tunisia.
At number one is Brazil’s kit worn at the Mexico 1970 FIFA World Cup which they won.
The kit worn by Euro 1988 champions the Netherlands is at number two, Germany’s 1990 World Cup-winning kit is at number three while at number four is England’s 1966 kit.
