Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is set to shun interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona to remain at Stamford Bridge for the next season.
Kante is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world and it normal the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona come calling but the French midfielder is not ready to entertain any talks of exit from Stamford Bridge.
Kante’s season has been marred by injuries and he is yet to hit his full height this season, having featured in just 20 of 42 matches due to injury.
The reports in France and Spain claimed the Blues could look to cash-in on Kante this summer, given the emergence of Billy Gilmour and the burgeoning partnership between Mateo Kovacic and Jorginho.
ante remains committed to seeing out the remaining three years of his contract with the west London club, according to Goal.
Barcelona could offer a swap deal involving Philippe Coutinho moving to Stamford Bridge and Kante to Camp Nou as Chelsea manager is interested in the Brazilian midfielder.
