Manchester United to rival Liverpool and Manchester City for Nigerian born midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa.
The 16-year-old, who is highly-rated at Aston Villa’s academy and Premier League relegation strugglers have held contract talks with a teenager and are hoping to persuade him there will be a clearer path to the first team if he stays at Villa Park.
Aston Villa CEO Christian Purslow recently described Chukwuemeka as “probably the best 16-year-old in England right now”.
According to The Athletic say Manchester City are rivalling Premier League leaders Liverpool for homegrown talent, while Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is out to sign young, talented British players who can grow with the club.
Nigerian descent Ckuwuemeka is still training part-time while he completes his studies.
