The Blues have been advised to slow down or look else in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Manager Frank Lampard is keen on signing a world-class player and he is interested in signing either Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho or Miralem Pjanic of Juventus.
Coutinho is a good addition if the Blues can meet Barcelona’s valuation of the Brazilian attacker at the end of the season.
While Panic is also mentioned at the Stamford Bridge but it is of the opinion that the Bosnia and Herzegovina midfielder has started to show some signs of decline and he would be a good buy for Chelsea who is in the process of rebuilding the team.
Pjanic has been the mainstay of Juventus team in the past seasons but he has begun to show signs of decline and he has dropped in his performances in recent times and looks likely that Serie A Champions will offload him sooner or later and Chelsea is considered a likely destination.
The move might be ended up not being in favour of both parties.
