Chelsea has suffered a huge blow after the 2-0 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup as two of the club player suffered injuries during the clash against the Reds.
Mateo Kovacic suffered Achilles injury and was replaced with just three minutes to end the first half with Mason Mount replacing the former Real Madrid star.
Willian was the other player that suffered an injury in the clash against Liverpool in the FA Cup, he suffered an Achilles as well.
Kovacic injury comes as a huge blow for Chelsea who is already without Jorginho for the coming games. Jorginho will miss the Blues next two Premier League games for collecting his 10th yellow card of the season in the 2-2 draw against Bournemouth.
The Italian midfielder will miss the match against Everton and Aston Villa, he will also miss the Champions League against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena after receiving his third European caution this season in the 3-0 defeat at the Stamford Bridge last week.
Manager Frank Lampard has already missed the services of Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and N’Golo Kante all unavailable against Liverpool in the FA Cup on Tuesday evening.
