Super Falcons striker Asisat Oshoala was on target again as Barcelona Ladies beat league rivals Atletico Madrid Ladies 3-2, in the semi-final of the maiden edition of the Spanish Women Super Cup on Thursday night.
The Catalan club went into the tie needing a win to reach the final, however, they started on a back foot as Toni Duggan gave Atletico an early lead four minutes into the encounter.
However, Barcelona staged a fightback and broke the resolve of Atletico when Patri Guijarro grabbed the equaliser in the 12th minute before Lieke Martens ensured the lead 16 minutes later in the goal-laden first half.
Oshoala increases her side lead when she found back of the net in the 43rd minute to put her team 3-1 ahead but Charlyn Corral scored for Atletico Madrid Ladies in the 62nd minute.
Nigeria international was later replaced on 77 minutes and she has now netted nine goals in her last seven games in all competitions for Barcelona Ladies this season.
Barcelona Ladies will now take on Real Sociedad Ladies in the final on Sunday in Salamanca.
